Pas si simple
Un fil de discussion de 1999 tiré des archives R.G.P. "What To Do On The Flop" et 2+2 "Hand to Talk About". A l'origine de la discussion, une main jouée par M. Malmuth : "Four players had limped in and I had 4d4c one off the button. I called, the player on the button raised, both blinds called, and all remaining players including me called. (Eight of us saw the flop for two bets each.) The flop came 9d 8s 3d. The player in the small blind bet, two players to his left called, I called, and the player on the button called. The turn was the 3s. It was checked to me and I bet. Only the player in the blind called. A queen of clubs came on the river, we both checked and I won the pot with my two fours. (The player in the blind had Ad 6d.). All comments are welcome."
Le coeur du débat porte sur le call de Mason Malmuth au flop. Deux camps vont s'affronter. A. Jalib et d'autres vont défendre le call de M. Malmuth car il a une +e.v., ce qui fera dire à D. Sklansky "Though Abdul and Gary Carson have done an excellent job of defending Mason (no that is not a misprint)" alors que D. Negreanu, au regard de la nature du flop, estime "Anyone who would even think of calling or raising here just doesn't understand hold'em at all. Tough decision? You must be kidding!" Et R. Cooke de conclure "perhaps by the end of the third millennium, you'll be able to read the final word on the 4-4 -- or maybe it will just never die."

Dur de relancer au flop avec une paire cachee qui peut etre battue par des paires possibles grace au tableau (ici 9-9, 8-8)...
Le small blind joue bien en misant, annoncant qu'il a une main potentiellement fort. Sa main a encore de bonne possibilite d'amelioration. Non?

jai une petite question ;;;pour le poker a 2 cartes ,est ce que quelqu'un pourrais m expliquer :si on a 3 paires est ce que l'on peut battre 2 paire et un as par exemple?

Non Sylvain, c'est la meilleure main de CINQ cartes qui gagne donc la 3e paire sert à rien
